There are careers in proofreading as well as in copy writing.
In proof reading, the client will want you to proof a piece of their work. You will have to ensure there are no mistakes in spelling and punctuation but you will also be looking for grammatical errors as well as those where the flow of the piece is thrown off. In copy writing, there is a large market for those able to write copy for websites and e-books. In all of the opportunities that are available, education and skill are necessary. Online work means that you work for yourself, but that also means that all of your education, training, and jobs have to be provided by you, not someone else.
